AI and new technology are fundamentally transforming
our work and personal lives. In the not too distant future,
we will have teams of AI workers and assistants at our
disposal. We will have AI friends, tutors, accountants,
lawyers, therapists. We will have more resources and
more time on our hands than ever before. And yet, we
will also be more addicted to technology and spending
even more time in front of screens, instead of with other
people, risking becoming more lonely, isolated, and
polarized in the process.
How can we harness the power of AI and new
technologies, while also reducing their negative
consequences on both our personal wellbeing and on
society?
At Pommon, our mission is to help people adapt and
build human connection as a future of AI and new
technology unfolds. Through our venture studio, we’re
developing ideas to help team human - whether it’s
developing new capabilities with AI, building new skills
for the future, or finding purpose and human connection
as technology becomes increasingly embedded in our
lives.
